Your First 90 Days on MoroccanZ Platform

Month 1: Get Oriented

Your first week is about getting comfortable. Think of it like moving into a new neighborhood. You need to know where everything is before you can settle in.

Start with your profile. Add your location (Morocco or your diaspora city), write a short bio about yourself, and share what you’re working on or interested in. Keep it real. This isn’t LinkedIn, and it’s definitely not Instagram. Just be yourself.

Next, explore the Spaces. Browse through different topic areas like Tech, Entrepreneurship, Arts, and Politics. Join 3-5 Spaces that actually match your interests, not the ones that sound impressive.

Then introduce yourself. Post in #Check-In and tell us: Where are you from? What brings you here? And yes, use Darija if you want. This is OUR space.

Month 2: Start Engaging

By now you’ve been exploring for a few weeks. Time to stop lurking and start participating. Most of what makes MoroccanZ worth being on happens in the replies, not in the scrolling.

Connect with others authentically. Comment on posts that interest you. React to content instead of just scrolling past it. Send DMs to people doing interesting work. And definitely attend your first community livestream.

Share your own story too. Create your first post. Ask questions, nobody judges here, we’re all figuring things out together. Share a challenge you’re facing or celebrate a small win. The community responds better to a half-finished thing than to a polished one.

Don’t forget the Academy. Browse the available courses and start with one that addresses a current need. Then join the course discussion forums, where most of the useful stuff gets worked out between members.

Month 3: Create Impact

Month two is about finding your people and your rhythm. You’re past the “new member” phase now. Time to dig deeper.

Start contributing value to others. Share opportunities you find. Answer questions in areas where you know something, even if you wouldn’t call yourself an “expert”. Give feedback. That give-and-take is most of what holds a community together.

Launch something, anything. Start a project, even a small one. Host a discussion in your Space about a topic you care about. Create a resource others can use. Collaborate with other members on something meaningful. We’re all builders here.

Plan your next chapter. Set goals for your next 90 days. Identify skills you want to build. Find potential collaborators for bigger projects. If you’ve been creating valuable content, consider applying for Leader tier to monetize your expertise and reach more people.

Pro Tips from the Community

• This is a Moroccan space, so speak naturally. Mix languages as you normally would. That’s how we actually talk. Help translate when someone needs it. Nobody needs you to perform being multilingual.

• Share real challenges, not just highlights. Ask for help when you need it. Nothing builds trust faster. And celebrate other people’s wins genuinely. We can smell fake support from a mile away, and so can everyone else.

• Building takes time. Relationships compound over months and years. Skills stack on top of each other. Consistency beats intensity, and showing up regularly matters more than occasional bursts of activity.

This is a movement as much as a platform. Every member here believes Morocco can be better, and is willing to do the work to make it happen.
